Fire Chief Steve Denzien and his staff are doing a tremendous job of researching the potential of having our own Grand Chute ambulance service.  If the analysis work continues to yield positive findings, this would be an exciting addition to our Town.  Major advantages to us as residents are:

• Quicker patient transport in emergency situations.  Grand Chute responders already arrive more quickly than Gold Cross responders.
• Better emergency care coordination.  Grand Chute EMS providers work and train together daily.
• A Self-funded service.  No additional tax dollars will be needed to operate an ambulance service.
• An experienced leader.  Fire Chief Steve Denzien has experience successfully managing a municipal ambulance service at Two Rivers, WI.
